Last Friday is a song about how God’s mercy and grace saved me from my turnt up party ways, true stories from my life but also playfully & conceptualy playing off of Smokey going to rehab after Friday. This is a comeback song after taking a 15-year hiatus from rap, feeling led to give hope to others caught out there and testify about how God’s grace changed my life. He’s still standing at the door knocking, and you know this man!
