Last Friday is a song about how God’s mercy and grace saved me from my turnt up party ways, true stories from my life but also playfully & conceptualy playing off of Smokey going to rehab after Friday. This is a comeback song after taking a 15-year hiatus from rap, feeling led to give hope to others caught out there and testify about how God’s grace changed my life.
